In class activity: Mr. Escalante

Mr Escalante was a dedicated teacher because he snuck out of the hospital, going against doctors orders to be with his students, due to his heart attack.  he fought hard to give his kids the opportunity to retake the test due to everyone passing to show the school board members that they did not cheat on the ap calculus test. and he believed in his students when noone else did.

Mr escalante beliecved in education with great dedication. He brought this dedication with him when he began teaching at Garfield High school. During his routine nightly English class, Mr. escalante had finished his sentence before excusing himself and exiting the class when he then suffered a heart attack , stumbling and finally collapsing down the stairs. after being admitted to the hospital, he was told by family members that he had suffered his heart attack due to stress. He was told that he would have to be on bed rest which would interfere with him being with his kids, and preparing them for the AP calculus test. After the nurse had left, and against doctors orders,  Mr. Escalante snuck out of the hospital and arrived at school just in time to surprise the kids and do the last minute coaching before the big test. This gave them the boost of self confidence, in addition to the knowledge they needed to pass their test.
