FINAL STAND AND DELIVER

My final thoughts on Mr. Escalante are that he is an AMAZING teacher and an even better person. He gave the students the things they lacked and the tools they needed to succeed. He adapted to the environment, both with the students and with the classes he ended up teaching (since he was supposed to teach computers.in the beginning) he came through for his students, they all passed the test. the school board tried to convince everyone that mr escalante's class had cheated. mr escalante fought hard for his students to get a retake of the test. He actually ended up having a heartattack and going against doctors orders and showed up the day of the test to give moral support! he was an excellent teacher who improved the status of garfield high school by improving and increasing the number of students who passed the test in the years to come.
