Education is important for shaping the lives of students. In public school, grades kindergarten through twelfth grade only foster three out of the seven learning styles. For students that don’t learn the “traditional” way that schools teach , they miss out and are sometimes looked at as less than average, even though most students are very bright. There are many things that put a damper on children’s education as well as confidence. Standardized testing is unfair to students because it demoralizes students, concludes invalid test results, and discourages children when they get low test scores.
Good start make sure to comment on how long the kids test for and how they get bored. If there bored and just fill in circles, how helpful can the test be?
ReplyDeleteI very agree with you on standardized testing on children. When a child is taking the test and gets stuck on a question, that child will guess instead of knowing the answer. I agree that children are not learning the traditional way of teaching and should be taught the right way and not the short-cut way.
